modparade sale

I wore this to camp at the modparade sale! This looks kind of bad. The UK doc martens are really hard to match without looking ... too punk. I might have overdone it a bit with the rainbow AND the fringe AND the uk docs. But I was really trying not to look too punk.

But anyway I bought a floral jumper($15), this ripped shirt($12) that I wanted when I saw it on the website, an army green maxi dress with bullet holes in it($5), a coral/pink flower headband($2) (like I don't have enough of those) and a massive pink ribbon with black polkadots($2). good haul!

There were a bunch of aunties talking damn loudly about how their kids took all their new clothes for CNY and they didn't have any clothes. Then they were discussing how to match shirtdresses and how "oh! can match with highwaisted skirt!"

Finally, when I was holding the army green dress they kept staring at me and saying "that girl.. that girl.." and poking each other. Then they went to ask the saleslady if she had any other pieces of the army green dress and when the woman said no, one of the aunties STAMPED her foot and said "HARHHH??!!" in a damn act cute voice.

wow I've never met aunties like that before, feel kind of embarrassed for their kids. I don't think I did anything wrong with the maxi dress anyway, I wasn't going to get it at first, but after one round of looking through the racks I just picked it up since it seemed like a good deal and you can never have enough maxi dresses.

Also I love the modparade bag.

fringe flapper dress, $10 sale from some blogshop, I kind of regret buying it.
boots, far east plaza, some store on the second-highest level. I kind of regret buying these too. Maybe I should have got the black ones. I've wanted knee-high ones black ones for ages, and bugis village quoted me $90 for leather-ish ones(price is mad, I got my pink ones in China for SGD$30). Anyway these were $45 or something. Quality isn't great and they're a bit big, but I liked the UK print a whole lot because I have the same ones in SL. I figured if I got bored of the print I could just paint the toes completely black? But now I can't bear to paint them black. What if I suddenly decide I like the UK print again!
